SWC Tempe
At BASILE’s first dispensary, Salubrious Wellness Clinic in Tempe, Arizona, design inspiration was born from a desire to enhance the cannabis sensory experience. Comprised of steel, poplar, marble and greenery throughout, our custom design focused on key security elements and thoughtful retail display for our client's high-quality flowers, concentrates, and edibles. We created a product display system, dubbed “Jane Diffuser,” which features a 3D printed swiveling resin head attached to a rolled steel tube body, allowing patients to browse the product freely on their own while the self-closing internal spring mechanism helps the product remain fresh. Behind the marble-clad POS counter we built sales floor locking cages that lift during the day to expose cannabis storage and drop down at night to lock the product away. Staying true to natural materials, steel and wood played a large part in the design along with unique security measures that we incorporated to marry form with function.
