SENIOR BOOKKEEPER
We are looking for a highly adaptable and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our fast-growing, small business. This role requires someone who can wear multiple hats and work effectively in a dynamic, ever-changing environment. The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, and able to thrive amidst a bit of chaos, balancing various tasks to support the financial success of multiple projects.
We are seeking a Senior Level Bookkeeper with expertise in fabrication, construction or design industries. The ideal candidates will play a key role in leading and ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting
Prepare month-end and year-end closing statements
Cash flow management and WIP reporting
Financial forecasting and strategic planning monthly invoicing
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Prepare payroll processing
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies
Support audits, tax filings, and compliance with financial regulations
Implement best practices for accounting organization and efficiency
Provide financial insights to project managers and leadership
REQUIREMENTS
8 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (preferably in fabrication, construction, or design)
Advanced QuickBooks proficiency
Ability to analyze financial data and provide recommendations
Strong organizational and leadership skills

This is a full-time position.
This position will be based out of our office located in Downtown San Diego.
Salary Range $70k - 95k Based on Experience
