Consortium Headquarters
For hospitality group Consortium Holdings, we created a mid-century eclectic downtown San Diego office, complete with repurposed vintage finds and contemporary custom-made office furniture. Cedar desktops suspended mid-air from steel posts hold brass magnet boards used as a unique backsplash. Vintage rolling office chairs in various styles and heights create unique seating arrangements. An essential office staple for any cocktail collective, BASILE fashioned an in-office wet bar complete with a leather-wrapped bar with commercial grade stainless steel sinks, a streamlined brass faucet fixture for testing recipes, and an oversized live edge wooden table. A second-story loft expands this collaborative open-concept space, furthering the sense of openness while maximizing the overall space’s functional footprint. Secured with steel beams and dual enforced glass panels with brass placards, the loft is home to a glass conference table suspended from the ceiling and supported by angled steel rod legs. Brass and glass flip shelving acts as a barrier between the the private office and surrounding public eateries. JUICE SAVES, also designed and built by BASILE, celebrates CH’s shared collaborative space with an adjoined café. The café's exterior featues a large installation of custom composite aluminum panels, while the interior space is framed by a custom fabricated wallcovering of geometric tile and hexagonal hot rolled steel flatbar.
