Soda + Swine

The concept of this established restaurant (the third incarnation of the Soda & Swine brand) was adapted to become a campus hub at UCSD. Details within this 14,000-square-foot bar and restaurant include cantilevered lighting, a CNC-routed Baltic birch seating system, and an eye-catching 24-tap brass tap system that drops from the ceiling, a dazzling sight for craft beer connoisseurs. Diners enjoy a seamless indoor-outdoor experience as bifold doors open to the patio where a 25-foot, curved copper-faced craft cocktail bar and massive glowing fire table awaits in a grove of eucalyptus. The retro-inspired, ribbed steel exterior doors are painted in gold sparkle automotive paint, a nod to our signature design style of utilizing wood techniques in metal.
