INTERIOR DESIGNER
BASILE Studio is looking for a creative and committed designer with a passion for custom details, holistic design and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Success in this position is dependent on not only being creative but, having strong communication skills, excellent follow-through, being detail-oriented, and most importantly having the desire of joining a team that is fast-moving, adaptive to change, comfortable with implementing processes, and likes to get things done.
We are seeking team members that will bring their UNIQUE skill set. That is highly versatile, capable of switching gears, and producing high quality custom design in a short amount of time.
Lead interior design assignments while selecting and sourcing products that maintain the company vision and concept
Work on multiple projects while also specifying custom and purchased lighting, furniture, and fixtures
Assist project leaders with interior elevations for interior packages and permit sets
Meet and work with clients for approval of items and plans
Organizing presentations to both clients and consultants
Proactively stepping in to support your teammates.
We are all required to wear multiple hats, not just for the design team but for the company as whole and contribute to our overall culture.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
Previous experience in an architectural or interior design firm.
Licensure not required but preferred depending on position and project.
Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup required.
Proficiency in CAD, Adobe Suite, Enscape, and Revu preferred.
Experience with custom details, material specification, and fabrication preferred.
Effective and clear communications, both verbal and written
Ability to handle sensitive information with diplomacy
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
Fast learner, self-starter, and ability to complete tasks with minimal direction
You are collaborative and enjoy working as part of a small team.
Animal lovers preferred.

This is a full-time position
This position will be based in San Diego, CA or Austin, TX
Salary Range based on performance of $60k - 70k
